£75million Advanced Propulsion Centre Competition – opens on December 2nd

Business Secretary Vince Cable recently announced that £75m of funding will be made available for collaborative R&D projects in the field of low carbon vehicles. The competition will support a small number of projects that will form the initial portfolio for the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC).
The competition will open on the 2nd December with a closing date of the 5th February 2014. 

Consortia formed of at least one vehicle manufacturer, one SME and one supply chain company are invited to bid for funding. Full details of the competition scope can be found here.
There will be a webinar on 4th December hosted by the Technology Strategy Board with full guidance on how to apply.
