The MIA was saddened to learn that Barry Richards, Radshape’s Commercial Engineer passed away on Friday 19th June 2009.
Barry was diagnosed with acute Leukemia in February this year and despite undergoing a series of chemotherapy treatment, and seemingly making good progress suffered an infection early last week which he never recovered from.
To everyone who knew Barry he was professional in everything he did, thoughtful, caring and an extremely well liked person who will be sadly missed by everyone at Radshape and in the MIA community.
Radshape invite fellow MIA members to suport them in their participation in the Three Peaks Challenge which takes place on 6th August 2009 which is in honour of Barry; the monies raised will go towards finding a cure for this dreadful disease.
