Recently launched in June, is the website for the MIA (The Motorsport Industry Association) and its many members. The site has been designed and developed by MSO.net with the aim to make the management of the membership information more efficient.
The publicly accessible section of the website contains a comprehensive range of information whilst the members’ section holds member-related material only. Within the members’ section, a useful management tool built by MSO.net is the members’ administration facility. The website administrator is able to add or edit members’ details – a function that has been extended to members themselves. Members can allocate various user privileges to individuals within their own organisation – the different status levels means that specific information can be accessible depending upon the designated status.
With regard to the Events section, details can be organised easily by the website administrator. The website administrator controls the amount of information that is viewable publicly whilst uploading additional events that are exclusive to the membership. Any event can have pages/files/images associated with it combined with a full pricing schedule.
When pages are added to both sections of the website, the administrator has complete control over their position. This includes being able to add both second and third level menu items as well as editing or deleting menus prior to adding an individual page. The MIA site also incorporates banners and with this in mind, MSO.net has supplied a complete banner administration function. Banners can be added, edited, suspended or deleted and URLs can be assigned with full statistical data collected.
