Torque Developments International (TDI) Plc is delighted to announce that it has been selected to distribute Zircotec thermal barrier coatings over a key sales territory of the South East of England and London.
In recent years Zircotec has developed an enviable reputation producing innovative sector leading thermal barrier coatings for exhaust systems and surrounding components. By reducing underbonnet temperatures Zircotec’s Thermohold™ coatings offer significant reliability and performance benefits to motorsport entrants, as well as classic and supercar owners. Three variants of Zircotec coatings will be available through TDi-plc-
i) Performance White™
Based on Zircotec’s key Thermohold™ formulation, this is a plasma spray on coating, suitable for applications up to 1400° Celsius. Proven to reduce exhaust surface temperatures by 33%, this results in greatly reduced heat soak, with underbonnet temperature reductions of up to 50° Celcius having been recorded. A three year guarantee is offered with this product application.
ii) Performance colours™
The Performance colours™ range from Zircotec utilises the same Thermohold™ formulation as the Performance White™, but in a range of 13 colour finishes designed to compliment any underbonnet installation; Graphite™, Chilled Red™, Warm Grey™, Yellow Gold™, Solid Black™, Sterling Silver™, Fern Green™, Ultra Blue™, Metallic Black™, Antique Silver™, Copper™, Aqua Green™ and Aged Brown™.
iii) Primary range™
The latest edition to the Zircotec product portfolio, the Primary Range™ brings Thermohold™ technology to a wider market than ever before. Ideal for exhaust applications up to 1400° Celsius, the new Primary Range™ offers a 25% reduction in exhaust surface temperatures, at a price some 30% lower than Zircotec’s existing Thermohold™ coating ranges.
Initially only available in black, Primary Range™ offers a high technology, durable, affordable, effective alternative to exhaust wraps or ceramic paints and is ideal for the fast road, track day and club motorsport markets.
