3 Wins in a Series of Successes for Racing Silverline

A fantastic set of results for the Racing Silverline squad in this weekend’s HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship round at Silverstone saw the RML-run cars take their first ever 1-2-3 in the first race. And there was still yet more to celebrate in the remaining two.

Having achieved his first pole position of the year with Racing Silverline ahead of today’s race one, Mat’s dominant weekend continued, appearing on the podium no less than three times, taking a 1st in race one, a third in race two and another 1st in race three. He would also set a fastest lap during the final race. Mat has now leapt up to 5th place in the championship standings, with a total of 137 points, just 16 short of 4th placed-man, Matt Neal.

A collection of other achievements throughout the weekend would follow for the Racing Silverline team who took three out of three race wins. And for Jason, along with marking his 300th BTCC start in race 3, he took fastest lap honours and bagged himself some vital championship points thanks to a well deserved race two win. That takes his total to 190, 31 shy from 2nd placed-man Giovanardi.
