CMA Marketing, renowned as the marketing partners of force behind motorsport industry heavyweights such as Xtrac and AP Racing, is embarking on an ambitious new journey by opening a Silverstone office.
The aim of the new business, to be based at the Silverstone Innovation Centre, is to expand the strategic marketing services already offered by CMA and provide cutting edge marketing solutions. “As the economy comes out of recession, it will be imperative for companies in the motorsport and automotive sectors to be proactive when it comes to marketing themselves, and CMA Silverstone will be here to assist those companies wanting to gain ground quickly,” says Geoff Cook who formed CMA Marketing twenty years ago.
Managing Director of the new office will be Pim van Baarsen, well known throughout the industry through his roles with the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA), Xtrac and Haymarket Exhibitions. “I’ve wanted to start my own motorsport marketing agency ever since I came to the UK, so it is fantastic that we can now make it happen” says van Baarsen. “The opportunity to team up with Geoff was one that was not to be missed. Our collective experience, knowledge and know-how means that we are in a unique position to offer bespoke and impactful solutions for motorsport and automotive businesses. It also means that there is virtually not a job we can’t do.
