Wildcat, the famous offroad racer, was relaunched at Autosport International by CMA Automotive and Motorsport Marketing on behalf of its new owners, Qt Services, themselves front runners in supplying competition parts for the national and international hill rally scene.
Wildcat was originally the brainchild of Drew Bowler but, with his business concentrating on a new model, had decided to end production of the Wildcat. However, Dave Marsh, boss of Qt Services and a past hill rally champion, in 2008 approached Bowler with an offer to take over production of the Wildcat. “I made the offer to Drew because I felt there was still an unsatisfied demand for the car”, said Marsh, “and because of Qt’s engineering capability, I knew there were improvements we could make to an already proven competitor to take it on to another level.”
