MIA member, video production company The Bigger Picture Media, has been commissioned to produce a film of the Matra Sports cars racing days, its demise, renovation and current involvement of the cars in HFO and Classic GT and Le Mans Series.
Executive Director Christian Dixon confirmed Sir Jackie Stewart, Henri Pescarola and Damon Hill OBE, representing Graham Hill, will be featured... all having significant success and F1 and Le Mans wins in Matras. Sir Jackie already interviewed this month.
The production, requested by a major Matra racing car collector of models M650, MS 660, MS670 and F1 cars MS 09, MS10 and MS80 (see Autosport J Stewart article Jan 19) has also generated TV distribution interest.
BPM are filming at Hall & Hall, Nicholson McLaren Engines, Donnington Museum, Matra Museum France, and circuits during 2012 where the owner of the cars will be racing.
