If you are considering trading internationally (or already doing so), UKTI may be able to subsidise a British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Export Communications Review of your company - one of the key routes to assessing your export-readiness. A fundamental aspect of this is considering the language and cultural skills within the company that are relevant to the markets in which you want to trade.
A UKTI sponsored Export Communications Review has, in the past, helped exporters to:
• Increase export turnover
• Develop export business in markets once thought too difficult
• Improve relationships with overseas customers and distributors
• Communicate successfully with export markets
• Handle enquiries from export markets competently, efficiently and professionally
The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) manages the Export Communications Review on behalf of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).
Whilst an Export Communications Review costs £500 +VAT, you may be eligible for a government subsidy of £350 towards the cost.
