Check Out the Competition with DC Electronics

DC Electronics today announced the launch of a brand new rear vision camera system for the 2010/2011 season. The package, which includes a camera, monitor, connecting cables and windscreen mount, has been specially designed for closed cockpit cars with no or restricted rear view because of roll cages or rear wings.

The company, which is most-famous for its wiring looms, has added the rear vision camera system to complement their existing product range.  The 180° viewing angle gives the driver of the car a better perspective of what is happening on the track behind. The combined weight of the camera and monitor is just 178g with a system current draw of only 240Ma @ 13.8v DC.

The compact monitor is attached to the windscreen and its brightness, contrast and saturation levels are fully adjustable, making tuning it to the cockpit environment quick and simple.

David Cunliffe, Director and Co-founder of DC Electronics, said: “The launch of this new product is in response to feedback from our clients who require high-quality, performance equipment that will give them a competitive edge. The safety benefits, as well as the advantages of knowing who is behind you and their position, makes our rear vision camera system a must-have piece of equipment for closed cockpit cars with a restricted rear view.”
