Technology-driven organisations will be brought together at a showcase event next week to network and share ideas for the future.

The local authorities of Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire (CSW), collectively known as ‘The Winning Technology’, are bringing together senior executives from the CSW region to network and generate business across diverse industry sectors.

The event, ‘Tomorrow’s Technology in Today’s Environment’ will take place at the NEC on the evening of Thursday 12th November. Click here for an event flyer.

The event will feature exclusive presentations from key industry experts from the CSW region, including ‘Motorsport Accelerating Energy Efficiency’ by Chris Aylett of the Motorsport Industry Association; ‘Green Sky Thinking’ by Lee Cassidy of SD Voice & Video Ltd; and ‘Sustainability and Business: The Opportunities and Challenges' by Laura Frost and Nick Mitchard of Arup.

The theme of the presentations will focus on how to use innovation and technology to sustain your business in the current environment while ensuring the long-term future of your company.

Attendees will be able to network with colleagues from the motorsport, aerospace, medical, automotive and ICT sectors as well as visit the various exhibitors including Envirowise, Interplex Solar Technology, Synergie Group, WhiteSpace Technologies and MIRA amongst others. The exhibitors will be showcasing their products and services that harness new technologies, demonstrating that the CSW region is at the forefront of the sustainability agenda.

Guests will also have the opportunity to learn more about Arup, the official sponsor of the event. Arup is a global firm of planners, designers, engineers and business consultants providing a diverse range of professional services to clients around the world. The firm is the creative force behind many of the world’s most innovative and sustainable buildings, transport and civil engineering projects.

Cllr Peter Fowler, Warwickshire County Council’s Portfolio Holder for Economic Development, said: “Tomorrow’s Technology in Today’s Environment is an ideal opportunity for local organisations to build business through networking with their fellow innovators across a range of diverse yet similar business sectors.
