DC Electronics sets up racing-systems shop in Mooresville

DCE is a unit of DC Electronics of Britain. It recently began production in Talbert Pointe Business Park and plans a full staff of 10 employees within two years.

Robert Carney, executive director of the Mooresville-South Iredell Economic Development Corp., says he expects the operation to become much larger in the near future.

“This company has high growth potential, and we are delighted that DC Electronics chose Mooresville for their U.S. production facility,” Carney says.

David Cunliffe, managing director of DC Electronics of Chelmsford, England, says the new assembly operation will help the company grow.

“We already have experience servicing NASCAR and ALMS teams and are looking forward to expanding our operations to enable us to service a greater number of clients in the U.S. market,” he says. ALMS is short for American Le Mans Series of racing.
