Sustainable Transport, design for the future - this FREE event will address how to meet the market demands for existing and future sustainable transport by showcasing new ideas and technologies that are being developed in the East Midlands and the Yorkshire & Humber, and how public procurement can be used to stimulate innovation.
There will be an exhibition, including low carbon vehicles, in the impressive hangar space and associated conference rooms. A range of advisers and support services will be present from both regions to help and guide delegates with access to knowledge, funding and skills related to innovating in the transport sector new markets.
The event is headlined by Kell (Michael) Ryan, one of the two brothers who helped revolutionise affordable air travel in Europe, and assisted in taking Ryanair from carrying 5,000 passengers in 1985 to over 55 million in 2008. Kell will be sharing his experiences of how Ryanair have continuously innovated to achieve success and his views on the challenges facing the transport sector for the future.
