Specialist Lloyd's Insurance Broker, Ellis Clowes & Company Limited augments its impressive growth plans by today announcing some key promotions and appointments to support the delivery of their strategic business plan.
Karen Ellis will change her role from Managing Director of the Lloyd's Broker she set up in November 2010 to become Chief Executive Officer of the group taking a more visionary and strategic role.
Her position as Managing Director of the Lloyd's Broker will be taken by Tim Nagle, and former F1 driver and pundit Mark Blundell will take the position of Non Executive Director of this dynamic group.
Karen Ellis said, "We set up the Lloyd's Broker in November 2010 and followed this in September 2011 with the opening of a second office in Banbury to service our Commercial Business. To continue the momentum I will take a more strategic position and oversee both businesses along with continuing my focus on key clients.
I am delighted to have such a capable MD in Tim Nagle to manage the Lloyd's business.
It is also great news that Mark Blundell has agreed to join us. I have known Mark from his early days in racing and throughout his career both on and off the track; I believe his business skills will, without doubt, be an asset to our firm."
