Compositi Expo Congress is due to run alongside Italy's Motorsport ExpoTech show in Modena, from the 13th to 14th October. This represents an excellent opportunity for companies to maximise the value of their trip to Modena. Please visit the event pages here and here for more information about the excellent 'Business Development Visit' and 'Exhibitor Support' packages the MIA are currently offering both members and non-members.
The material industry is continuously evolving and composites are playing more and more of a leading role due to their rather unique characteristics, these allow them to be implemented in all comodity sectors, distinguishing themselves particularly in the world of vehicle construction.
As far as construction goes, composites main characterstics are:
- High mechanical resistance
- Materials are not subject to atmospheric corrosion
- Lighter structural weight and volume
- Higher velocity capacity equalling the propelling force
- Lower fuel consumption
- Less pollution.
On the 13-14 of October, for the third consecutive year, at ModenaFiere the Compositi Expo Congress will feature a series of speeches regarding all aspects concerning the construction of vehicles with composite materials.
Together with the area in which the congress will be held, there will also be an exhibition area at disposal of the companies, allowing them to exhibit services, products and tecnologies.
Compositi Expo-Congress will witness the involvement of universities, research centres, laboratories, designers who work in the composites department, companies that produce raw materials, finished and semifinished products, fabrics and technical and reinforcing cloth, machinery used for productive processes and production technologies, with the aim of giving a precise identity to this field, that of the construction of vehicles using composite materials, which is still rather submerged.
The schedule of workshops taking place during the event can be accessed here.
