FARO, the world’s leading provider of portable measurement and imaging solutions, has hosted a very successful event at Williams F1’s Conference Centre in Wantage on 28th October. More than 50 visitors attended this event to see the new products: FARO Laser Tracker ION™ and FARO’s new CAM2 Q software version.
Visitors didn’t only learn everything about the newest advances in hardware and software technology. In addition, Chris Aylett, CEO of MIA (Motorsport Industry Association) has held a keynote speech on quality control in motorsports which was very well received. Participants also had the opportunity to experience the real F1 feeling - behind the wheel of Williams’ F1 simulator.
David Homewood, Area Vice President of Sales for the UK, France and Benelux, is delighted with the outcome of the event. “The success of this event shows that customers are very interested in advances on hardware and software for quality control. This – combined with the interesting location – pulled a large crowd to our event and we will definitely organise more events like this during the next months.”
