FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL HR MANAGERS

...“NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT!”...

If you ever want to employ an overseas motorsport engineer with special skills…if so this is important good news...

The UK Home Office has recently changed the system by which they assess the eligibility of overseas nationals, from countries outside the EU, who wish to work in the UK.

These changes require companies who have any intention to recruit from beyond the EU, now or in the future, to register that intent and gain the official classification of “Sponsor”.

The process is neither complicated nor expensive. For those companies with a special skills requirement (which cannot be filled from the UK workforce) it permits a solution to be found from the global Motorsport pool.

Positive consideration is also given to those graduating, from a UK University or training facility, who have a desire to remain in the UK to work for a UK company.

The Government estimated 25,000 companies would accept this invitation by November 2008, but, to date, less than 400 have done so!
