FORMULA ONE AUDIENCES INCREASE FOR FIRST HALF OF SEASON

Formula One continues to buck the trend of TV audiences and shows a global 6.1% increase for live races for the 2010 season – accordingly to IFM Sports Marketing Surveys global report.

Significant increases in North America were helped by the reinstated Canadian GP and Nigel Geach, Director at IFM Sports Marketing Surveys, comments:

“Formula One in 2010 continues to be a highly successful sport, with increasing audiences in new markets giving sponsors and teams a good commercial advantage in these tough economic times – a wide open championship at half way stage means that the second half of the season will engage fans even more to the sport."
