After nearly doubling attendance at last year's PRI Trade Show with its focus on LSX engines, the Advanced Engineering Technology Conference (AETC) is following up with advanced Ford Modular engine performance as the theme for its 2009 event.

Celebrating 20 years, the AETC is a conference primarily for race engine builders, well established as one of the longest running and most respected seminar series on racing technology. It will take place the week of the PRI Trade Show in December, opening a few days before the Trade Show. The 20th Annual AETC will be held Monday through Wednesday, 7-9th December, 2009.

Topics include high-performance Modular engine building, new Modular technology, optimizing Modular air flow, in-depth review of Modula forced induction, dyno- and race-proven Modular product reviews, Modular engine control, the future of the platform, OEM insider information, Ford Modular Super Stock development and inside the Daytona Prototype Mod Cammer Engine.

Attendees will learn the latest technology from industry experts and icons. Plus, the AETC is a great way to meet fellow race engine builders from across the country.

Attending last year's AETC, Al Noe, of Trick Flow, said, "The 2008 AETC was a great event. The networking at the event is invaluable, and hearing the firsthand experience of the speakers was exceptional. Having all of the expertise of the GM LS specific platform in one location and hearing their presentations was first rate. All of the speakers did a great job telling the audience their experiences and sharing their first hand knowledge of what works and what does not. The 2008 AETC was a very valuable learning experience."

The conference fee, including breakfast, lunch, breaks, cocktail parties and seminars for three days is $500. A 10 percent discount will be awarded those who sign up before August 1st.
