Sustainable transportation systems are very much dependant upon the technology maturity and availability of sound infrastructure. Ian McDonald, the technical director of Future Transport Systems, will give a technical presentation on the low carbon and integrated electric vehicles.
In this lecture, Ian will discuss the challenges in implementing the technologies to the UK market, and the importance of resilient public infrastructures for sustainable future transports.
There will be a demonstration of an Electric Vehicle and Segway Personal Transporter prior to the presentation. This event is being held in collaboration with the Automotive and Road Transport Systems Network.
