MIA member Withers & Rogers LLP are offering an in-depth look at the opportunities and threats relating to intellectual property (IP)in emerging economies such as Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC).
These events are due to be held in London, Bristol* and Leamington Spa (on the 25th November, 1st and 7th December respectively).
The seminars will take an in-depth look at the opportunities and threats in relation to IP for western companies seeking to manufacture, design, or sell in these emerging economies, while also exploring how best to reduce such threats and maximise opportunities.
During the two hour sessions real life examples will be used to try to address a number of key questions including:
- Can registration of IP put your company in a stronger position?
- Is your registered IP going to be enforceable?
- What are the costs associated with registering IP and how can they be minimised?
- What IP trends are being seen if any in these territories?
- What are the steps that your organisation should take to maximise any opportunities?
- What changes if any are being seen with regard to IP legislation and to what effect?
