Originally scheduled for 30th November 2nd December 2011, officials have changed the date for the third annual International Motorsports Industry Show (IMIS) to 8th-10th December. Scheduled a weekend later, the Indianapolis-based show will no longer conflict with the 24th annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in Orlando, Florida on 1st to 3rd December 2011.
IMIS organisers said in a joint statement: “We listened very carefully and are doing what we feel is best for exhibitors, attendees and the industry as a whole. We apologise for any inconvenience this date change may create for those that have already registered. At the end of the day, our mission is to provide an environment that helps exhibitors do better business in the hardcore racing industry.”
The organisers said the date change will utilise a new, larger convention space, to accommodate a waiting list of participants interested in the show.
