Invitation to Williams F1 as FARO Launches World's Most Accurate Large Volume Laser Tracker

FARO, the world’s leading provider of portable measurement and imaging solutions, will launch its new products FARO Laser Tracker ION™ and FARO’s new CAM2 Q software version for quick and reliable part alignments at an exclusive event at its customers Williams F1’s Conference Centre in Wantage.

Visitors will learn everything about the newest advances in hardware and software technology. In addition, Chris Aylett, CEO of MIA (Motorsport Industry Association) will hold a keynote speech on quality control in motorsports. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience the real F1 feeling as the first 25 registrants will have the chance to feel like a F1 racing car driver - behind the wheel of Williams’ F1 simulator.

David Homewood, Area Vice President of Sales for the UK, France and Benelux, is delighted about the new products which will be showcased. “True to our commitment of making our customers’ products and processes the best in the world, FARO once again delivers the most advanced portable laser tracker and software ever – the Laser Tracker ION and FARO CAM2 Q software,” he explains. “In today’s economic climate, having measurement instruments that can produce results you can be confident in, while reducing costly rework and streamlining processes is extremely important. The ION and CAM2 Q will help our customers drive the innovation that is necessary for them to remain competitive.”
