Is your motorsport business in Cherwell Disrict or are you connected to it?

If so, take part in this urgent consultation on Cherwell District and North Oxfordshire's Economic Plans up to 2016 - have your say now.

If you work in or have your motorsport business based in, or you are in any way linked to, the Cherwell District of the UK, the MIA strongly encourages you to add your thoughts and ideas to the vision for Cherwell's economy over the next 5 years.

It is very important that our sector makes them fully aware of the strength and depth of motorsport and high performance engineering, in their District as they plan their Strategy for the future.

The Cherwell Local Strategic Partnership has been preparing a new Economic Development Strategy for Cherwell District.  Its purpose is to set the direction that all in this District, collectively, need to take to ensure the Cherwell District economy remains strong and resilient, for the benefit of all who live and work here.

A Draft Economic Development Strategy has been approved by both the Board of the Cherwell Local Strategic Partnership and the Executive of Cherwell District Council, and is open for public consultation.   Details can be viewed here  http://www.cherwell.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=7128

They are keen to consult widely within, and beyond, the District to make sure that all who wish to comment has an opportunity to do so.

As the Strategy will continually evolve, please send your comments by email, even though the formal consultation period closes on Monday 24th January. Check this on-line via  http://consult.cherwell.gov.uk/portal/phe/economic/ with an opportunity to make comments via a simple form.
