Building on their success, last year, in the inaugural zero emissions Grand Prix, run by MIA member TTxGP at the Isle of Man TT, Kingston University students are currently developing their 2nd generation electric motorbike to race again on the Isle of Man and various UK circuits this year.
This year on June 9th, they aim to average 100mph around the Isle of Man road course, a 20% increase from last year!
The 2nd generation bike has many radical and innovative design features that will attract a large amount of press coverage.
Kingston University are looking for industry partners who would like to be part of this high profile Zero Emission racing project. They would benefit from the exposure guaranteed at these events and the added value from being involved at the cutting edge of the global drive for future green transport solutions. This would be a great opportunity for MIA Members to align themselves with the development of Cleaner Racing in the Motorsport Industry.
