Low Carbon and Fuel Cell Technology - Stimulating collaboration between industry and academia, 9th June 2009

This half-day event seeks to stimulate collaboration between industry and academia in the low carbon and fuel cell communities and to raise awareness of the opportunities provided by Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) and Case Awards.

The Low Carbon and Fuel Cell Technology Knowledge Transfer Network, in collaboration with the UK Energy Research Centre’s Meeting Place and the Carbon Trust, would like to invite you to join us for this unique opportunity to build new and mutually beneficial partnerships, and to gain insight into the mechanisms to support them.

Event Description:

From 2pm – 3:25pm there will be three short presentations showcasing academia’s credentials and highlighting mechanisms to support industry / academia collaboration.

From 3:25pm – 4:45pm, you are invited to an exhibition of UK academic capability in fuel cell and low carbon automotive technologies. You will have the opportunity to view posters and exhibition stands. The following will also be available:
• An exhibitor document describing UK academic capability in fuel cells and low carbon automotive technologies, with summary information for each academic institution / group:
1. Expertise / capability
2. relevant activities
3. collaboration interests
• Information point: for further information or to express interest in KTPs or Case Awards.
• Collaboration Wall: to express interest in or offers for collaboration.
