St Cross Electronics' customer Samsung Crescent Suzuki finished 2nd in the 2011 British Superbikes Championship.
John Hopkins narrowly missed out on the championship, by 0.006 seconds after a frantic last lap tussle with eventual championship winner Tommy Hill. The last lap saw these two overtake each other no less than 5 times.
Hopkins still did a remarkable job, considering he missed a weekends racing after breaking his finger earlier in the summer.
