MIA Members make a big impact at DVD 2009

As part of the MIA's ongoing Motorsport to Defence Initiative, 11 MIA members exhibited at Defence Equipment & Support's (DE&S) annual DVD event at Millbrook Proving Ground on 24th and 25th June 2009.

MIA Members Aireshelta, Alcon, DMS Technologies, EMW Picton Howell, Good Fabrications, Goodridge, MIRA, Prolinx, Ricardo, SPA Design and Stack all reported a great deal of enquiries from MOD personnel and defence vehicle manufacturers, while an MIA delegation of over 40 people visited the event to make contact with prime defence manufacturers and meet with Urgent Operational Requirement contractors.

Many MIA members also enjoyed an off-road passenger ride in a Supacat high mobility vehicle on Millbrook's off-road test track.
