Motorsport students from Swansea Metropolitan University, one of the UK's leading educators for the motorsport industry, have been praised by the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) following their role as ambassadors for the organisation at the Autosport International event, last month.
Swansea Met students were at Autosport with the MIA to offer help and advice to individuals who wish to pursue a career in motorsport. The MIA is the world's leading trade association for the motorsport, performance engineering, services and tuning sectors. It represents the specialised needs of the global industry as it undergoes continuing rapid development throughout the world.
Speaking after the event, MIA Director, Fiona Aylett said: "The Swansea Met students were an outstanding credit to the University, and to themselves. They took full advantage of the opportunity we provided for them to engage with the industry and, in some cases, this has led to potential employment. They were all smart, keen, helpful and extremely interested, and we couldn't have asked for anymore from them.
"I'd like to thank them for their tremendous help and support at Autosport International this year."
