The international exhibition and convention of materials, technologies, products and services for high performance vehicles is back at ModenaFiere exhibition centre February 2 and 3, 2012 with an important new feature: a partnership with ACI/CSAI – the Italian Motor Sports Commission.
Modena, October 2011 – The fourth Motorsport Expotech – the professional motor sports fair bringing together the top companies in the industry – presents an important new development: a partnership with ACI/CSAI – the Italian Motor Sports Commission.
Over the two-day event to be held at ModenaFiere on February 2 and 3, 2012 ACI/CSAI will organise meetings with teams, trainers and representatives of all the championships.
High-level events on the Italian motor sports scene will take place at Motorsport ExpoTech under the new partnership with ACI-CSAI and ACI Sport.
On Thursday, February 2 the fair will host the Awards Ceremony for the Italian Hill Climb Championship (CIVM). And on Friday, February 3 Motorsport Expotech will host the 2011 ACI-CSAI Motorsport Champions Awards Ceremony. This is one of the biggest events in the motor sport season, organised directly by the Motor Sports Commission of the Automobile Club of Italy – with the involvement of the most important representatives of all the manufacturers involved in motor sports, the team managers of the top teams, and all the Italian champions in various events: not only well-known names, but young drivers who are just coming into the limelight internationally.
The second day of the event will feature a presentation of the most important Italian championships of 2012 for circuit, track, hill climb and rally racing, bringing teams, pit crews and media to find out about the latest new developments in the rules and the calendar of events for the racing season due to get underway in the months to follow. The Italian GT Championship, the Turismo Endurance Italian Championship, the Italian Prototype Championship, the ACI-CSAI Abarth Formula, the Italian Formula 3 Championship, the Rally Championship and other private racing programmes not yet finalised will be presented. In addition, the event will see the official presentation of the CSAI Series Rally.
“CSAI and Motorsport ExpoTech share a common philosophy of investing in the future,” says Marco Ferrari, Secretary General of ACI-CSAI. "On one side is our association: the sporting arm of a club with about a million members who are always open to new formulas, innovative projects and new roads that guarantee the present and, especially, the future of today’s young people. And on the other side is Motorsport ExpoTech, an international exhibition and convention which is growing precisely by investing in technological research, use of innovative materials, and everything linked with engineering of high performance racing engines.”
The new edition of Motorsport ExpoTech aims to present and reveal new developments, acquire know-how and organise B2B meetings in the world of high performance engines and vehicles – for cars, motorcycles, aviation and go-karts – from design to sub-supplies and from innovative materials to finished products. All without neglecting the issue of environmental impact.
