The MIA will be hosting the seminar The Future of Design, on Monday 23rd June at the MIA headquarters, Stoneleigh Park.
You are invited to join colleagues and peers interested in the future of design to share the insights of Prof. Simon Cox of the University of Southampton and Director of the Microsoft Institute for High Performance Computing, into cutting edge examples of enginering design, and developments in high performance computing, the semantic web and optimisation - technologies transforming the approach to design of major companies such as BAE Systems, Rolls Royce and Airbus.
Dr. Peter Collins of dezineforce will describe how these capabilities are now being brought within the reach of the smallest of companies.
Please join us at 16:30 and the seminar will finish by 18:30, following which we hope you will join us for a drink at a nearby pub
Why should you attend?

DEBATE key issues related to raising design capability, in the follow-on Q & A session
NETWORK with others responsible for design, and for exploiting design for competitiveness
