An increasing  number of high profile motor sport venues have been affected by court judgements over their noise impactin the last few years. By definition, motor sport is noisy, however what can be done to reduce the impact on the spectators enjoyment and aural safety as well people whose standard of living is affected by such activities. This meeting introduces the problem, gives details on what is being done by the governing bodies and local government and considers the position of the organisers of such events.
