Tuesday 15 May 2012 from 8.30 am
Two industry speakers from motorsport and automotive (yet to be confirmed) are to address a forthcoming meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Motor Group at its next popular breakfast industry discussion on Tuesday 15 May at 8.30am, in the Churchill Dining Room, House of Commons – supported by the SMMT and the MIA.
The discussion, with MPs and Lords, will focus on the recent, growing linkages between the motor sport and automotive industries, and look at how this collaboration, across the two sectors, in technology and innovation is leveraging more investment. Business Minister, Mark Prisk MP, has been invited by the Chair of the APMG, Richard Burden MP, to outline government’s current policy on supporting the motor sport and automotive sectors, as well as the importance of innovation and technology as a driver for growth.
Attendees will include cross-party Group members from both Houses of Parliament, as well as chief executives and senior colleagues from both industries.
