Motorsport UK has signed a long term agreement with Silverstone

The Silverstone Motorsport UK show showcases and allows visitors to experience all categories of national motorsport.

Motorsport UK, the Motorsport show that promotes all categories of national motorsport, has signed a long term agreement with Silverstone Circuits Limited to become the new venue for its events and will be renamed as the Silverstone Motorsport UK with this year’s event set to take place on the 3rd & 4th November at the Northamptonshire circuit.

Silverstone Circuit has made significant investment over the last few years which has seen the venue transformed into a world class exhibition and conference facility. The Silverstone Motorsport UK show which takes place on the 3rd and 4th November promotes, showcases and allows visitors to experience all categories of national motorsport.

Organizer Martin Capenhurst confirmed the itinerary of its 2012 show which has a number of new exciting elements. It will be possible to go round the Silverstone track with an instructor, to test drive exhibited cars or to participate in a kart challenge. Also there will be a fan forum, a live stage with interviews and a hall dedicated to car manufacturers, racing series, suppliers and associations.
Richard Phillips, Managing Director of Silverstone Circuits Limited, adds, “We are delighted to welcome Motorsport UK and Kart Mania to Silverstone. We have been extremely impressed with the two events and we look forward to working with Martin, his team and partners in making these events a success and a not to miss fixture on the UK Motorsport calendar.”

Martin Capenhurst enthuses, “We are thrilled to be teaming up with Silverstone and there is no doubt that the Silverstone Motorsport UK 2012 is going to be a very special event, and will certainly be something for all of the family.”

Adult tickets are £15.00 or £35.00 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children), which includes free parking and free event programme.
