Motorsport and British Skeleton at Sochi Olympics 2014 - Fundraising Dinner - May 1st

07 Apr 2013

Exclusive Fundraising Dinner 1st May 2013
in support of the
British Skeleton Olympic Sochi 2014 Team

British Skeleton, Team GB’s most successful Winter Olympic sport over the last decade, is hosting an Exclusive Fundraising Dinner as part of its build-up to the upcoming Sochi 2014 Olympic Games in Russia.

The dinner is on the evening of Wednesday 1st May 2013 at Brasserie Chavot - the newly opening restaurant of two Michelin-starred chef Eric Chavot - in Mayfair’s Westbury Hotel.

This high performance sport has strong, long-standing links with motorsport, currently McLaren currently supports its R&I programme for sled design. It now seeks donations from the motorsport industry to include within this important fund raising Auction – such as tickets to events, signed memorabilia, exclusive products, experience or track days, factory trips and visits etc.

British Skeleton currently boasts the reigning women’s Olympic Champion, Amy Williams MBE; the 2013 World Champion and Olympic silver medallist, Shelley Rudman; the longest-ever competitive slider and 2008 World Champion, Kristan Bromley (Dr Ice); and the World Junior Champion 2012, Lizzy Yarnold.  Not bad for a nation without a track!

If you are to donate a lot to the Auction, want to buy tickets or wish to find out more about British Skeleton, please contact
David Henwood, British Skeleton Non-Executive Director on davidhenwood@bobskeleton.org.uk; or on +44(0)7958 712764.
