Motorsport partners sought for revolutionary camless engine technology!

06 Nov 2013

A Singapore-based company, Acceleron EDS, are seeking separately an engine partner and transmission partner with the engineering capability and facilities necessary to develop and demonstrate their revolutionary technology for a camless engine and electronically-actuated transmission - first in a motorsport application, followed by production vehicle application.

Patent-pending EAVS (Electronically Actuated Valve System) is based on nanotechnology concepts and developed over five years through two prior patents. EAVS has tremendous benefits over existing cam-based engines and camless technologies (hydraulic, pneumatic, magnetic and electric motor). Proof of concept has been completed and further developments will show the ability to independently and individually control each valve and optimise engine performance. The core technology for EAVS also allows for better actuation in transmission, removing all requirements for hydraulics.

Acceleron are seeking a joint development arrangement, and for the partner to eventually take on the technology for the motorsport and production vehicle industries. The ideal partner will have a broad customer-base across both motorsport and production vehicles.

Acceleron are fully open to expressions of interest, and discussions on collaboration and are fully contactable via email and telephone.
