Lidar Technology Challenge Workshop

The Centre for EO Instrumentation (www.ceoi.ac.uk) is holding a Challenge Workshop on 'Enabling Technologies for Future Lidar Missions' on the 21st September 2009 at Coseners House in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The Workshop will focus on the technology for future space-based Lidar missions and will include a review of the science drivers, the range of Lidar missions being considered, the driving technology requirements and the current UK technology capability. It will investigate the technology opportunities presented by future space missions and how we can better co-ordinate development of UK Lidar capabilities for application to the critical missions of the future.
