Menard will drive a Chevrolet sponsored by his father’s Midwest-focused home improvement stores. He will join the RCR stable that includes Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Clint Bowyer.

The 29-year-old driver is in his fourth full season in Cup, his first in Fords from Richard Petty Motorsports. His previous Cup stops were at Andy Petree Racing, Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Robert Yates Racing. He has just two top-five finishes and five top-10s in 133 career starts dating to 2003. He has one pole and has led 42 laps in Cup competition, with a career-best finish of second place at Talladega Superspeedway in 2008 for Dale Earnhardt Inc.
In addition to his Cup résumé, Menard has run 152 Nationwide Series races over part of seven seasons. He has two poles and one win, 17 top-fives and 51 top-10s. He’s finished sixth in points twice, for DEI in 2005 and 2006. At present, he is sixth in Nationwide points for Roush Fenway Racing.
