The FOX network’s presentation of the first 13 races of the NASCAR Sprint Cup series hit a three-year high, averaging 8.6 million viewers per race, up +9% over last year (7.9 million viewers) - the largest one-year audience increase in the 11-year history of NASCAR on FOX.   Ratings for males aged 18-34 increases by over 20% during 2010.

The 2011 ‘NASCAR on FOX’ season concluded with a 3.9/10 (6.3 million viewers) for the Kansas 400, according to national ratings released by Nielsen. This was the first airing of the Kansas 400 on FOX, however, this year's race easily beat last year’s Kansas race, which aired on ESPN in October. Compared to NASCAR’s last Kansas event this latest race was up +63% on Household rating/share (vs. 2.4/5) and up +67% on average audience (vs. 3.8 million viewers).
