The MATERA+ Call is planned to be launched in March 2009. The call is for transnational, interdisciplinary, innovative R&D projects related to materials science and engineering in certain European countries and regions. The total available budget is anticipated to be around 20 Million euros.
MATERA+ offers participants a simplified introduction to the initiation and participation in R&D projects at the European level. Individual project partners seek funding from their national/regional funding agencies in accordance with the relevant Programme rules. The added value is the opportunity to easily access international know-how, to gain technology and market expertise while also allowing the participants to integrate into international value chains.
