Cranfield University are now, urgently, looking for thesis projects from companies, large and small, in the motorsport industry for 2011-12 that will challenge their MSc Motorsport students academically. These are post-graduate students with excellent first degrees and some knowledge of high-performance engineering and motorsport already.
Such a thesis is a way to have research undertaken, by a well qualified graduate at very low cost, which is related to your businesses, and such a project can be used, but not necessarily, as an ‘extended interview’. Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) , from 1-3 years can be arranged, but some agreement needs to be reached to allow limited publication of thesis research.
Students work on a wide variety of ‘thesis projects’ from early May to early September 2012, but most get preliminary work underway well before then once a company project has been identified.
