This weekend saw the curtain come down on a thrilling year for the World Rally Championship, with the title chase between Mikko Hirvonen and Sebastien Loeb going down to the wire. Three days of action in the Welsh forests saw Loeb emerge victorious and there was no better setting for the culmination of a fascinating season.
Prova has again been engaged by International Motor Sports Ltd, the commercial arm of the Motor Sports Association, to provide a PR campaign for the event. And its team of PR specialists, motor sport experts and media consultants were busily putting the final touches to a programme that saw Wales entertaining thousands of new fans and rallying aficionados from across Europe.
In addition, Prova is also the driving force behind the PR programme for the RACMSA Rally of Scotland, the last round of the IRC, or the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. The championship has already been taken by a stellar Kris Meeke but all eyes will be on the fast flowing stages around Stirling, Perth & Kinross, as the series visits the UK for the first time.
The rally takes place from the 19th - 21st November but before then, Prova's team are being kept busy organising a media day that will start at a five star hotel in Glasgow, followed by a co-driving experience for journalists at Knockhill.
Andrew Coe, chief executive at IMS, noted: "It's been great having Prova PR on board again for Rally GB and now Rally of Scotland as well. They bring knowledge, passion and a sense of fun to their work and their campaigns play a pivotal role in our marketing programmes."
