BBC and Formula 1
In July Chris Leigh, CEO of Real Time Race made a showcase speech at British Telecom's Headquarters in London. Delegates included representatives from Reebok, BT Vision, Mastercard, and Aviva Stadiums. The audience reaction was excellent in particular from BBC R&D. The BBC representatives included Ben Gallop, who heads up both Formula One and BBC sports on the internet.
New Capture Vehicle
Real Time Race are building a new capture and filming vehicle which will be used this Autumn. The previous rig was for research and development of Beta Products. New laser technology has been released which will make it the most accurate vehicle scanning system ever built to be used for commercial applications.
New Scientist Magazine
The New Scientist Magazine has interviewed Chris Leigh for a periodical article. The subject of interest was on the technology Real Time Race use to fit objects into interactive simulations. V-Fit is a proprietary set of augmented reality algorithms.
