Titan Motorsport and Automotive Engineering were recognised last week at the Motorsport Industry Association’s (MIA) Business Excellence Awards and were presented with the Export Achievement Award sponsored by Performance Racing Industry (PRI)
The event was held following the first trade day of the Autosport International Show and was attended by 500 people from the global motorsport industry. Titan was among five companies to be nominated for this prestigious award, and was presented to Sales and Marketing Coordinator Zoe Timbrell, who reported that “Titan has been working hard to develop its overseas market”
In particular, Titan has participated in many MIA run events, which has assisted in developing the contacts that have been required to further understand and progress in the overseas markets. This included the Business Development Trip to Charlotte and Indianapolis in May and exhibiting at the PRI Show in December.
These trips have led to the launch of a new range of drag racing products, which have been developed directly with racing teams, including steering racks and oils pumps.
Further, Titan has successfully exhibited at the Professional Motorsport Show in Cologne for three years, which has had a positive affect on exports into Europe, providing an excellent opportunity to meet potential customers in Europe.
Oz Timms, Managing Director, who also attended the event said: “we are delighted to have won this award, which acknowledges the efforts that have gone into promoting our products to the motorsport industry around the world.”
Titan began building race cars 38 years ago, and now specialise in the design and manufacture of steering, engine and chassis components for the motorsport and automotive industries.
