Trevor became Managing Director of Cosworth Racing to head up their Formula One engine development programme, when Ford announced the Jaguar F1 programme in 1999.
Trevor had been group chief engineer for powertrain engineering at Jaguar Cars, following a long and distinguished record in the automotive industry. He had a major hand in the development of many outstanding Jaguar engines, including the famous V12 and XK six-cylinder Jaguar units. Early in his career he worked in F1 for Coventry-Climax, focussing on race engine development.
The MIA sends his wife Helen and their children our sincere condolences
