UK Advanced Engineering 2010: China Showcase, Shanghai 23 – 24 June

China is set to become the world’s largest GDP economy by 2050, offering enormous opportunities for global partnership.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is organising a major reputational showcase of UK Advanced Engineering capability in Shanghai in June 2010.

This event will promote the strengths of the UK sector in Advanced Engineering in key areas such as sustainable aviation, low-carbon vehicles, advanced materials and efficient manufacturing.

The reputational showcase, led by UK Business Ambassador Sir Kevin Smith CBE, CEO of GKN plc, will be aligned with a number of UKTI-supported trade missions which will take place across China around the time of the showcase.
