SBAC will co-ordinate a UKTI seminar in Sao Paulo, Brazil to promote UK expertise in the advanced engineering sector. This will take place on Wednesday 11 March to coincide with the UK launch of the UKTI Advanced Engineering Marketing Strategy.
The seminar will address three core themes - advanced materials, design engineering and advanced manufacturing. Within these, six core areas have been identified, by the British Consulate, as being of greatest interest to the Brazilian audience:
• motor-sport (components & fuel),
• low-carbon technology (for aerospace and automotive, including motor-sport, applications)
• advanced materials
• automation & robotics
• sensors & instrumentation
• advanced engineering R&D centres and testing facilities
