UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and the China British Business Council (CBBC) will host a high profile Advanced Manufacturing Summit in Beijing on 17 October 2011.

This one-day event, and its associated trade missions, will provide a platform to highlight UK capability in aerospace and automotive in the main technology themes of aero engine technology, new energy vehicles, materials and vehicle standards, all with a strong sustainable manufacturing focus.

The major Chinese automotive companies expected to attend the Summit include FAW, Dongfeng Auto, Beijing Auto, Greatwall Motor, BYD, SAIC, Chang’an, Yutong Bus, Guangxi Yuchai Group and Wanxiang Group.
