In the run up to the football World Cup this summer, the eyes of the world are on the continent of Africa, where UK exports in goods alone was worth £7.8bn last year. To capitalise on the opportunities Africa has to offer UK business UKTI is holding an event at Wembley Stadium on 25 May 2010 featuring businesses who are already successfully selling there and country experts.
The event, from 09.00 – 15.30, will see UKTI host over 250 UK companies of all sizes, from all sectors. UKTI is looking to invite companies to attend who are either thinking about Africa, have received enquiries from there, or have made a first sale and now want to learn more. The event will not only give you the opportunity to hear from those who already doing profitable business in Africa but also to question them on how they do it, the pitfalls, and opportunities.
