The event will showcase some of the businesses who have successfully applied for and received grants to protect their IP. As part of the proceedings, attendees will have the chance to learn more about the intellectual property protection process and understand the role this plays in safeguarding future revenue streams.
The Fillip initiative was the brainchild of Dr. Karl Barnfather, Midlands Lead Partner at Withers & Rogers who submitted the idea to the West Midlands development agency known as Advantage West Midlands, two and a half years ago. The forthcoming conference will celebrate successes to date which include the undertaking of a substantial number of engagements for West Midlands businesses to assist in the commercialisation of innovation projects.
